Due to the 100% chance of rain on friday the 26th, the Walk has been postponed until Sunday October 28th

For those seeking an alternative to the usual Halloween House of Horrors, come to A Walk Between the Worlds at Stone Mountain Farm. Join us on a mythic journey into the Otherworld, where Phantoms and Forest Spirits dwell.

On this Halloween adventure, you’ll trek through a dreamscape filled with Fairies, Sprites, Phantasms, and a Magical Dwarf. You’ll be delighted with interactive storytelling and music. There will be bonfires to keep you warm and Sprites soaring high above you on the flying trapeze.

This year we are holding the event for ONE NIGHT ONLY on the Full Moon of Friday October 28. There will be three walks; starting at 7:30, 8:00, and 8:30.

This event will be held at Stone Mountain Farm, 475 River Road Extension, New Paltz, NY 12561.

All proceeds from the event go to benefit the Center for Symbolic Studies. Located on 350 wooded acres of Stone Mountain Farm in New Paltz, CSS has as their mission “to provide a theater of opportunities for conscious mythmaking, leading to personal growth and communal awareness.” Since opening their doors in 1991, the Center has sponsored a rich array of workshops, lectures, festivals, ceremonies and performances that have been enjoyed by thousands of people from all walks of life.

According to CSS founder, Robin Larsen, “With A Walk Between the Worlds, we’ve gone back to the mythology behind the celebration of Halloween, in order to create an entertaining experience that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.”

Ticket prices are as follows: Adults $10, kids and seniors $7, CSS members $7, Kids under five are admitted FREE of Charge. Anyone coming in costume gets $2 off the price of a ticket.

Walks will leave from the reception area every thirty minutes. Participants should wear comfortable shoes and warm clothing, In case of rain, the event will be held on Sunday October 28th.
